P2000sk slide release

I was wondering if anyone has come up with a fix for the rattling right side slide release on their P2ksk's? I've read several threads on here in the past about them, but no fixes. I recently sent mine to HK, they sent me a new set of slide releases. But, if I knew how, I could still type out Morse code on the right one. Any movement of the weapon and it just click clacks away. Love the gun, great feel, great shooter. Perfect for CCW, it just disappears. That rattle is maddening though.

Dab a little clear fingernail polish in the grooves that go through the hole in the right side release after it's assembled.

...or better yet, choose a color that matches your shoes. :)
