Bottom line, I want one. However, I have a dilema.

I'm on a limited budget (full time student), don't really care if I end up with a P7M8 or P7 PSP. However, I want a nice rig to carry in right away, which is where my dilema comes in.

1. Where can you buy a P7M8 for the cheapest? I saw someone selling a P7M8 earlier today on gunbroker, sold quick at $750, I woulda jumped on it, but I didn't have the money for it right now (that hurts real bad), looked to be in over 95& condition too (I coulnd't really see any flaws).

2. I know where to get the P7 PSP from for relatively cheap and I don't mind not having the heat shield, don't have a preference with mag release, but does anyone know of any sources where I could get a VM2 holster for the PSP right away?

That is my dilema, in order for me to get a P7M8 I have to find one at an earthly price (very hard to do), but I know I can find a holster for it. I know I can get a P7 PSP grade A for a very reasonable price, but I can't find a holster (when I say holster, I am talking VM2, I want nothing else) for it. Any help would be appreciated.

Either CDNN, or what I did was watch gunbroker.com and gunsamerica.com.

For the holster, give these guys a try...

Although I highly doubt they will have what you want in stock being that it is such a hot item. Worth a try though.

They have nothing for the P7 line at all and won't for the rest of the year. I checked last week.

You can find a used VMII on The Cult of the P7 about once a week. You have to jump fast though. I just sold mine yesterday because I got a new one. It sold literally 2 minutes after I posted the pictures.

If it's the P7M8 that I saw earlier, then it was refinished, which is why it looked new. $750 isn't much, but that's why. Who knows how well the gas system was maintained, how many shots were fired through it, etc. THere's a reason most P7M8's are 1100+ and P7PSP's are $700. I would save up for a P7M8 that's new or clearly not refinished, and do it right. You may have to save for it, but think about how much an additional $400 is over the course of 60 years?

Thanks guys, I heard CDNN recently jacked up their prices on true Grade A PSPs another $120. I'm thinking it might just be worth it to go with a P7M8. I also read on Milt Sparks website they don't charge your credit card till holster is ready to ship. I think I'm gonna have to be patient, I'll buy a P7M8 sometime over the next few months and order the VM2 next month before they meet their qouta.
