I was wondering if anybody knows whether you can get a fullsize usp 9mm with the lem trigger, like you can with the compacts? My local hk dealer has been trying to source one and isn't having any luck. Would it be better to just get it in version 1 and convert it? I've done that with 4 of my usps' already but was just trying to avoid the hassle and extra cost. Any advice would be helpful.

The new Combat Competition comes with the LEM with a match twist. It's avaliable in 9mm with the Jet Funnel / 18 rnd mags.

I had a customer at the gunshop want a compact with the LEM trigger. I couldn't find any thru RSR, Accusport, Ellot Bros.

I'd also like to have my own personal USP9SD converted to the match/LEM.

Should the customer buy a used one and send it to HK for LEM conversion? Any one recommend a gunsmith that can get the parts and install them?

skyhigh, in addition to the Combat Competition mentioned above, there are some LEM-equipped standard USPf 9mm pistols floating around out there. I had one for a while, and it did not have the white index mark on the frame; which indicates the pistol came from the factory with the LEM.

I sold that one last year, got to regretting it, and bought a Combat Competition a few months ago.

Now I'm all better... ;)

Thanks for the info. I'll look into the combat competion or just converting a regular v1.
