Need Help - OLD LASER SIGHT

Hi:

I’ll make this long.

I’m a new member,, with a purpose, I need information about an HK Laser Sight. Specifically,, what battery is required for a HK Model 100 pulse beam laser sight.

Believe it or not,, I called HK service department in Alabama and after a few days they called me back and DID NOT have ANY information on the model 100 laser.

HK said the sight was quite old and of course HK didn’t really manufacture the sight.

Before then I’d asked on another gun forum where quite a few very helpful folks lurk,, but,, the HK guys were probably not looking,, No help.

HK recommended I check with this site because there were quite a few folks who might be able to help.

So,, does anyone know the correct battery ? Voltage, size, even a typical model number of a specific battery would be helpful.

Radio Shack had them last year, they are used for dog colars(so thats another place to look), not cheap, think $20-ish

Damn quick,, It is a Duracell TR175 Mercury 7.0 volt.

I know this is right,, because,, about 10 minutes ago I received another email giving me the SAME number.

Two out of two,, that's pretty good,, gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.
