The HK45 was released last November. One would think that there would be more accessories for the gun being that it has been out for almost a year.

I am suprised it has been out that long. Maybe I should have bought the USP.

The main thing is a nice IWB and SOB leather holster. I would also like some higher cap mags.

I think because of cost the HK45 has not been as popular as it could be. Most people see Glocks and M&P's for $450 to $500 and don't see any reason to spend more.

I felt the same way and planned on buying a FNP45 then I held the HK45. It instantly became popular to me, it felt like it was built just for me!

Hight cap mags? Nope.
Holster...yeah they're out there. You have to call the major manufacturers and get on a waiting list for the list of customers waiting for holsters. I've seen companies deny orders because they are so backed up.
That's why I use Kydex.

I have nothing against cheap, thats what I planned to buy. BUT the old saying saying is right: you get what you pay for. Actually I enjoy shooting my HK45 just as much as my Kimber Gold Metal Match, and the HK was quite a bit cheaper! :D

Not entirely. I'd take a Glock 19 over a USPc 9mm for a CCW gun. Heck even my P30 sits while I take the Glock. It's all a matter of usage and the individual shooter's needs.
You can buy the most expensive tricked out Nighthawk Custom woopty doo wizbang gun for CCW, but it isn't always going to be better just because it costs $2k+

Anytime you feel like a gun is made for you, buy it.

Can I add that to my list of good excuses to spend money?
I already like "it's an investment" and "your saving money by buying a .22." ;)

"Any Gun Will Do, If You Will Do."
It's a good arguement, but don't get me wrong, I still prefer ergonomics.

Ergonomics don't matter to me when I shoot one gun better than another by default.

Milt Sparks is making holsters for the HK45, and they are some of the best leather holsters out there.

Substitute 9mm for .22 and those are the excuses that got a P7 in my hands ;)
