I know that this question probably has been asked countless times, but old posts would not be applicable as prices change, especially on discontinued models. A local dealer has a USPc 9mm stainless V1 that looks new, better than new, with no scratches, grey box & one 10 rnd mag. He wants $599 for it. This seems about $50 - $100 too high, but I know it's condition is great. He also is putting a grey framed USPf 45 up for sale soon, price not known yet. Don't need them, but my collection is way past the "need" factor into the "want" factor, as in I want these guns but I don't want to pay too much.

Your thoughts on fair prices please......

Really NOT a bad price Robert. The stainless ones usually go for $50-$100 more than the black ones. It's not a steal of a deal, but it is a very fair price. And the stainless ones can be difficult to come by.

$599 is an excellent price for that stainless 9mm USP compact if its LNIB condition! I have seen alot higher on that particular pistol. I would buy it if I saw it at $599 - lets us know what you decide

That is less than I have been seeing them for lately when you can find em. I paid a about $25 more than that for mine. The one I picked up also has Meprolight night sights and It came with two 13rd mags. It seems like a pretty resonable price to me.

Rob, it is fair deal. I'd jump on it but I'm deployed in the sand box.

I agree with the above. Robert14 , have you seen them less than this anywhere else?

This is the first one I have seen in my area since they were sold new, thus my not being sure about the price....

I just paid $499 for a KH USP9c stainless from a gun store; included 2 LE/Gov marked mags and dead night sights...not a safe queen but in decent condition. Just needed a good scrubbing. Based on where I bought it I'm assuming it was a LE trade in that was carried a lot and shot not so much (very, very little wear on barrel making me believe there are <500 rounds on the gun).

I think that's a fair asking price...for one that's "used" but in great condition as u stated. I bought a new one bout 2 years ago (AE date code) for like $50 more + transfer fees.

Palmguy,
That is a great price for a USPc SS, no doubt about it, but if this were a LEO trade, the round count is likely a good bit higher. Not that your deal is diminished any...it's a great price...but every year, if not more often, LEOs qualify. Qualifications usually are 50-100 rounds. Add to that any practice rounds and in the 10 years in service, (1997 to ??), and the pistol probably saw several thousand rounds.

I tried to get a shot of the barrel hood of mine to show the lack of wear.

My USPc SS has thousands of rounds and still looks new. That is the wonder of the HK line, that they wear so well, are made of such high quality materials. I wonder why HK doesn't make more stainless models...they are gorgeous.
