Is there any major plus for the USP SD over a regular USP with a threaded barrel? Besides the sights of course?

So if I want a metric factory barrel- I go with SD. If I want a 1/2x28 or American thread pattern USP. Thats all I noticed. Any plus to the metric over American thread pattern?

unless you wanna run a Brugger & Thomet suppressor. Its threadded in the correct M13.5X1 LEFT HAND. IM sure that there are other suppressors out there that can be adapted to that thread but it depends on you needs.
If you buy a standard usp, add a threaded barrel and want a suppressor your also going to have to change the sights to clear the top of the can.
Unless you can get a really cheap usp (maybe in need of a refinish or service) the $$$ will start to pile up.
