Just like title says, can a expert be changed to LEM and what kind of problems would I have, PROS and CONS.

absolutely. Larry Houck had /has such a beast. I was squadded with him at the 2007 Area 7 championship. I believe his trigger was down to 3.5lbs in LEM.

I'd be willing to bet that Larry would have won Limited 10 if he had been using an SA/DA configuration instead of the LEM. Even if he hit all A's, his splits were slower because he had to pull through the full length of the LEM trigger and wait for reset with each shot.
The question begs to be asked... Why would you want to remove arguably the best production SA/DA trigger from a USP Expert and put in a LEM? The LEM trigger is counterintuitive to proper trigger control.

Not necessarily. Both Rob Leatham and Todd Jarrett slap their triggers, their finger comes completely off the trigger and some times hits the trigger guard. Todd Jarrett did shoot the LDA for an entire season and was still able to win.
There are two schools on trigger control. Old school is to ride the trigger on the reset. New school is to slap the trigger, mind you, this is a controlled movement. Slapping the trigger is extremely hard to learn. If you manage to master it, you can pretty much shoot anything.

If you have not tried FastUSP's (Tommy Thacker) competition trigger conversion you would not believe what the LEM trigger can be made to do. It has a .065 inch reset and as light as a 3 pound pull. Rather than go into all the details again, do a search on posts started by me and look for a post done about a year ago that has is titled "So you want a .065 trigger reset?" or something like that. That trigger is about as close as you will come to a tuned 1911 trigger in a USP and will completely change your mind about the LEM's use in competition.

I'm going to LFI in October, any chance of giving my Fast Tommy's phone number?

If it is not in the post I referred to I don't have it. Do a search on ".065" and you will find the post. Or, do a search on "FastUSP" and that will turn up his posts.

keep in mind that kind of trigger job is for competition/range use only.
