do the usp compact tacticals have the same triggers as the usp .40/.45 tacticals? everything i've read points to yes. if yes, then why no trigger stop?

No, they do not. No match trigger on the USPct, and no match trigger on the USP 9mm SD.

How does the match trigger differ from the standard trigger?

More crisp and less overtravel. The weight felt about the same, but the feel of the trigger is much, much better.
