Will the HK45 with the tan frame (I especially like the gold one without the finger grooves) ever get released for civilian purchase? I really like this pistol a lot and would definitely buy one if it came in another color besides black (I've got too many black pistols as it is).

There has been no word from HK if or when the tan frame HK45/HK45c will be released. I personally don't see it happening anytime soon. I would like to see the HK45 become available with a OD green frame :).

Tan atop tan (like the FN45) would be really cool, but I don't like the black atop tan.

I like the two-tone black and tan as well. I don't think they will come out anytime soon though. I wanted a tan black HK45c, but looks like I'll be getting an all black one this weekend.

I seriously doubt they will be released anytime soon, but what do I know. Besides, if they do, I hope the change that shade of tan from baby crap to a real tan, like the previously colored frames on the USP's.

any word on a threaded barrel from Jarvis, factory or whoever for the HK45?

I agree, the slimmer grip confirguration looks better than the current model-OD green seems alot more practical, FDE would work too

Well I called HK and they said that they had been told that only black frames are going to be offered, so I guess we can forget about tan HK45s.
