I just enjoy shooting this weapon more and more. There are at least four other people I know that want to go shooting with me just to shoot my HK. Of course, I am now getting the itch to buy another, but there are so many choices!

I would like to stay with the .40 because I finally found a couple of self-defense rounds that I like a lot. With that said, they're not that much different from a 9mm. I am currently shooting Magtec 165gr for practice and using either Corbon 140gr (yeah...140gr!) or Hornaday TAP 155gr for self-defense.

So, a 9mm is in consideration. Which brings me to my next dilema: P2000 or USPc LEM/V1. I held a P30 and while it was comfortable, I just don't think it has the same appeal to me as the P2000/USPc. Oh, well i shall see where my savings takes me. Either that or the possibility of a big raise at work:D

Have you thought about getting a fullsize USP 40 or USP Tactical 40? If you like compacts...How about a p2000SK 9mm or a p7psp?

I know you said you'd like to stay with a .40 or go 9mm, but the new HK45 and 45c are really awsome pistols. I'm planning on getting the HK45 Compact this weekend.

I personally think you should go with the P2000 .40. Use the same mags and ammo in a different pistol. Just for fun hang a tac light off the P2k for a different feel.

I like the .45 rnd so despite your preference IMO buy the HK45 or HK45c.

If you have plenty of cash look at the P7M10

I think a new caliber would add some variety. Why not try snatching up a P7 while they are readily available.

I have given the P7 a thought and it would be a new direction. I don't know it's still a toss up. I'll start saving and see where I am at in a month or two. If I have $600 bones and can't bare to wait any longer then I might go with the P2K or another USPc.

600 bones will get you a Grade B P7 from CDNN.
