Getting an occasional failure to feed last round on my P2KSK. The round locks in an upright position pointed to the ceiling. I have to remove the mag to get it out, which isn't always easy. I've read in various threads before that the factory springs are weak and Wolf are better.. but I can't seem to find the threads I read nor have I seen any alternatives to Wolf. So quick question for those who may know.. is Wolf the way to go for the P2KSK or is there a better alternative for springs?
Whichever is best, any suggestions on from where I can purchase?
Thanks in advance..

how many mags do you have? does it happen to all the mags or just one? have you tried buying another mag and seeing if the problem continues?
you can get the wolf springs or contact hk and you can order a new spring from them.

I am having the same problem with my P2000SK with respect to magazine springs. This prompted a call to HK customer service this week. I looked at the Wolf Spring web site and they do not have springs listed for the SK. I sent an email to Wolf Springs yesterday and received a reply from Walt Wolf. He said that they plan to have the springs by the end of the year but hopefully sooner.
I think HK should have to back this up if it becomes a known problem. Clearly a faulty spring issue. How many rounds in your weapon?

I have had a FTF problem with my SK from day one. Always the last round in the magazine using multiple brands of factory ammo. I purchased a new magazine and the problem cleared up. My pistol is 5 weeks old but is an AF production code, which means it was manufactured in 2005. Possibly three years was a little to long to sit. In any case, I think I have the problem identified and HK is sending me new springs.

I've been having the same problem with just two of my mags. Took them apart and cleaned(not really dirty, but suggested) and ever so slightly streached the springs. Next time at the range I didn't have any problems with one but on the first load on the other the last round failed to load, all subsequent loads went off without a hitch?? I am going to keep an eye on those two mags to see if it continues. My suspiscion is weak springs.

I have three magazines for a P2000SK .40...and they all do exactly the same thing. They didn't do it when it was new, but after sitting loaded for a time, all I can suppose is that the springs took a set...which they obviously shouldn't. I can't carry a firearm that does that, so it's dead in the safe until a solution comes along.

I'm going to mark my mags and see if it's one or the other, but I only have the two mags and it happened twice in 250 rounds today. I've been on the lookout for a .357 barrel since I got it so it hasn't been too much of a concern, but I'd like to get stronger springs and see if that helps. No idea total rounds through it, I bought is used though it looked as if it had less than 100 rounds through it when I bought it, and it's an 07 date code. No idea if the mags are the original or not, so I guess I could just replace them and see what happens.. for some reason I thought I had read that this was common and new springs fixed it up, but I may be confused.
So has anyone replaced with Wolf and found success? Or does anyone know where to purchase Wolf or anything stronger than the HK offering?

Seems to be both mags.. they are probably just old and tired springs. Does anyone know if the Wolff USP compact mag springs would work in these mags, I figure if the mags are interchangeable, maybe the springs are as well?
Or are there any aftermarket springs available at all for the 2000 SK?
