to upload a pic go to www.imageshack.us and select the size you want it. Then browse to your picture and click upload. When it's done you will get a screen with some text boxes with the URL you should use to post it on a forum.

mine gets BLACK and caked with carbon. Just scrape it off.

Spray it with some Mpro-7 (or better yet, rub some of their bore gel on it), let it sit for 10 minutes, and then scrub it with a nylon toothbrush. Effective and gentle.

Mine looks like that after shooting (athough not all the way down the piston). Just clean it like I mentioned above.

Whats more important is if the gas rings on the piston are sharp. Your piston looks to be in great shape, and quite clean actually. :P

DO NOT brush it with a metal brush as this can dull the rings, use an old toothbrush.

+1.
Use a soft toothbrush or a rag to clean/wipe the piston down.

Dude...that looks better than mine after I clean it! You can get alot more grunge in there than that and it will still run. I've run 1500-2000 of WWB through mine while only reaming the cylinder every 400-500 rounds. Don't get too torqued up about some carbon on the piston. I soak mine in that SLIP2000 milky voodoo juice stuff and comes off very easily.

I'm surprised you can rack the slide with that many rounds between scraping it. My slide gets really stiff around 200 rounds.
