Picked up a new HK today

After many long months of debating, today at the local gun show, I traded my Kimber 1911 Ultra Carry II .45. I just don't feel comfortable carrying a CCW that is so picky when it comes to ammo. Got sick of all the failures to feed. It was my first and last 1911 pistol. Not to put down the 1911, just not for me.

I will stick to my trusty HK's which have never once given me an issue, from my USP's to my HK45. And now, finally brought home a new CCW and member to the family, P7M8. Great condition, my dealer said it may have never been fired, from the looks of it, he may be right!

Thanks guys. I really like how this pistol is built and feels, now I understand why so many of you have more then just one, I am already wanting another!

I shot my P7M8 at steel plates on Saturday morning. I finally understand why everyone loves this gun for CCW beyond the obvious size benefits. The hand feel, time back on target, and the sights made it great for practical shooting.

Absolutely. You should liberate that P7 from your safe. After it goes off the Roster, I don't think any buyer in CA would care if it had a few rounds through it if you ever wanted to sell.
