Are you wanting to sell it? If so, that will greatly influence my answer, seeing as how I am in the market to BUY a P9S in .45 ACP New,unfired,in box,2 magazines,manual...

Die-hard collector will pay $2200-$2300 for NIB.

If it's a Combat in 97%-99% condition somewhere between $1000-$1300. If it is a Target also in approx.96%-99% condition about $1800-$2200.

That seems high... but I've not reviewed the market lately, and to be honest, an unfired P9S .45 safe queen is pretty unusual... and perhaps totally worth the $2300.

Is there a reference you've based this value on?

A few years ago, prices seemed pretty stable. Now days, I can't seem to get a handle on what's fair.
For example, if I was to sell my P9S .45 Target... Do I ask what I think might be a high price with an "OBO" and let the market find it's own value, or do I ask what I think is about right... firm?

So... according to you, my .45T is worth $2200? From what do you determine those values... if you don't mind me asking?

What that means is if your P9S Target is in 99% condition, all origonal packaging, manual, mags, etc. right place/right time you COULD get $2200.there have been examples where people have asked those prices. Weather or not they got it is unknown. Hell I saw a Combat with no box or paperwork go for $1400 at a show YESTERDAY!!! A target is definately worth more $$$$
All of these type of discussions are mearly speculation anyway

Capitalism...Thats how We all afford these fine guns,watches,cars,houses.. Our Lifestyles...Right? That's what pays My bills! (Capitalism...NOT Flipping guns! I'm a small biz owner!)
Yes...I did buy this gun...Am an HK owner,(carry a P7M8) and I don't use multiple screen names to hide who I am...
I simply wanted to try to gauge the real value of this gun....Not sell it here.
I think that MOST of Us would like to know how much of a bargain We got!!
I DO KNOW it was a bargain...Just not sure how well I did!!
Thanks to everyone for the positive replies...And Yes,it is a Combat.

IAC33...
I know the guy who sold the P9S Yesterday...In a show in North Indiana,Right/
He also had a NIB P7M13,as well as a M3 S90 TopFolder (with the BAD "porting")
My M3 S90 Top Folder has no porting.
If I may ask what that is worth,99%,but no box..
Thanks!

I see. I thought you might have a set of recent references you were using... some known examples that would indicate values for the various P9 models. Poor judgment on the part of seller or buyer would be incongruities at the far ends of the range that could or should be thrown out... IMO.

I have a hard time using gunbroker or other bid sites as a point of reference because more often than not, the starting asking prices seem high, and quite often the guns don't sell, or if they do, you don't know what for.

What I was looking for was a recent group of known sales values that might indicate a range or a "trend" from which I could justify establishing a price.

was on my "radar"
I guess I shouldn't be all that surprised then.

So you are basically wanting this forum to do your research and come up with an accurate amount so you can sell it somewhere else?

The gun is worth whatever amount a buyer is willing to part with... you have allready raised the interest here of someone wanting to buy your very gun. What more do you want?

So I guess this thread has died an early death due to hostile feelings and perhaps bruised egos.
Sorry to see that... I believe that of any group, people who carry guns should be a little more tolerant and considerate of their fellows.

I'm not suggesting we should all gather round the campfire and sing Kume-ba-ya... but in these times that are tough for many, a little care goes a long way.

Cheers,
C

I only asked a simple question...

Well yes you did... and I thought you were perfectly polite about it too.
But, this is the interwebnet… and as I'm sure you know being polite or thoughtful or considerate is not a prerequisite for generating a post.

People can ignore it, they can escalate hostilities (a popular pastime)... or they can try to make it better by considering the weight of their words.
I'm sure there are other options... but I can't think of any at the moment.

Best 'O luck selling your P9S... it appears to be in very nice condition
