Thinking about using this holster for a USP.45c. Does anyone use one with the single big clip? Im debating on this or either a DeSantis ProStealth. Not wanting to spend more than 60 since it'll be limited carry.

i've used one with the clip for about four months now. I haven't had any problems. it doesn't move around too much and I'm not worried about it coming off my belt under any reasonable circumstance. I'd say go for it.

I like the infidel with a strut for my full size USP. If the holster alone seems a little wobbly for your compact, you can always get a strut at a later time. Another excuse to get free Smarties.

Thought the clip was metal initially, but its the same material as the rest of the holster. Will it snap off if caught on something?

I was fooled by the pic on the website also. You are correct, the clip is not metal, it is kydex or whatever the material is that the holster comprises of. I was a little disappointed at first but I have grown to like it. Seems durable and it does not snag under a t shirt or jacket for me. I am a fat kid so I snag stuff around my waist pretty easy and it has held up well thus far. I have a safariland holster as well and I think that the material of the infidel is a little better because it is thicker and does not bend as easy. I have had it for about 6 months now and I carry concealed on a very rare occasion. Other than that I use it at the range on occasion. FWIW, I am satisfied with it, seems like their are many others on the board that like Comp-tac holsters also.

www.mitchrosen.com. Check out the Clipper model, it's listed under "new products". Sounds like it fills your criteria.

Great product BTW;

John like. Wonder how long they take to make and if they come in solid mahogany, website doesn't specify. How does holster wear differ in leather, kydex and nylon cloth out of curiousity?

Normal turn around time is about 8 weeks. You may need to call regarding color availability. IMO leather causes far less wear than Kydex or nylon.

Good luck;
