Info for CCW in RI

In the state of RI your best bet is to apply to your Chief of police for your town or city under RI general law 11-47-11 for a CCW permit. NOT the AG's office! You will have a much better chance of being approved.

Thread was very helpful. It took about a month to get CCW from AG. They do make it as difficult as possible to obtain. Ran right down to Providence to pick it up as soon as the approval letter came in. Thanks again.
