Hello everyone. I am coming back to HK after a stint with a couple of Kimber 1911s (Warrior & Pro Carry II). The Warrior was awesome, but the Pro Carry was crap. So now I am back with HK. In the past I have owned a USP 9, 40c, 45, 45c. All great weapons with no malfunctions. My most recent purchase is a P30L. I've put 400 rounds through it so far and am impressed with how accurate it is. I thought the Warrior was a tack driver, but this thing is awesome........... Except the trigger. Kinda sloppy, especially when compared to the Warrior. Now I know it can be worked on and that's on the list of things to do. Not a big deal, I just need more practice with it. AND the slide release. I am left handed and find that my strong side thumb rides on the slide release and keeps the slide from locking back after the last round is fired. Is there a way to bob the relase, or even remove it from the right side of the frame? I am used to the release on the left side of the frame and can opperate it with no problem.
