At a gun show show last weekend, I saw an HK .22 semi-auto. Probably 20-30 years old, or more; slightly larger than a Walther PPK. Seller knew little about it and I didn't get a model number. It was not in the greatest shape, but I had never seen one. Does anyone know what this might have been?
Thanks.

I want that gun... I really want pretty much any gun HK has ever made...for obvious reasons. :)

The HK4 is pretty much the cheapest-made, crappiest pistol HK has ever offered. It is not NEARLY up to the standards of the rest of the HK line. It is an interesting piece of HK history though, so to an HK collector, it may have some usefullness in filling a gap in your collection. It seems that many people who try to buy them for a shooter, end up selling them shortly thereafter. . . :)

I know where one of these HK4s is sitting in a gun shop, decent condition, box, all 4 barrels/springs/mags. Anybody have a good guess on what a decent price would be? I'm not a collector per se, but I've never seen one of these anywhere for sale before. Trying to save up for a P7M13, but all these other guns keep getting in the way!

all my HK4's run 100%.......great little guns
a 4 cal set would be $700-1400 depending on the vintage and condition

Thanks very much! I'll have to go back and take a closer look! (Darn, I'll never get that P7M13)
