Does the recoil spring eventually start to shape like ~. I saw a picture of somebody selling one and the spring looked like that. Mine is fairly new, about 1100 rounds, and I could see where it might start doing that after time.
What is the recommended change out for the HK 45?

Yes the spring does look like ~ when in there, but you cant tell anything by looking at it. How many rounds have been fired. Some people change out their springs at 5,000 rounds, I did at 9,000 but should have done it sooner. go with a regular strength spring if you change them out, the +2#'s is a little stiff and increases the recoil with regular ammo, weaker spring -2#'s... well your replacing a weaker spring.
