View Full Version : P30 slide to frame fit?

Is it typical for a P30 to have a fairly sloppy slide to frame fit? I guess with such short frame rails it's expected, but I want to make sure it's typical - I'm used to guns with zero movement between the slide and frame.

HKs are generally tight weapons, can you post a pic?

It doesn't fit like a 1911, but its fairly snug for a polymer production pistol. There will be a little more movement in the front than in the back.

The slide shouldn't rattle when you shake the gun while it's in lockup, and the barrel shouldn't wiggle when you try to move it.
Other than that I don't know.

It's not something a picture would show. It doesn't rattle from shaking, but if I put one hand on the frame and one on the slide I can move it, both up and down and side to side. Given that it's more in the front than in the back like xskylitox said, I guess this is typical.
