Need a little help with Safariland

So, I have decided I really like Safariland's newer holsters, the model 6360 and 6365, specifically with a SureFire X300 attached to my handgun. So, I checked their "will fit" chart, nothing for the HK45, which didn't surprise me too much. So I sent them an email, asking for a possible time line for this model in this set up.... The email reply I got indicated they have no plans for this set up.... I see they finally have a 6280 available for the HK45, but not with a light attached?


So, I was thinking if more/several of us shot them an email asking for this set up, perhaps it could/would speed them up a bit?

If your not familiar witht he 6360/6365 holster they have a pretty good video on their site describing/demonstrating it. It has their rotating hood, but also has a lock, which locks to the ejection port of the handgu... It will retain the gun without a light on it, if for some reason you have to remove your light.. The release for the second/ejection port lock is easy to activate and pretty intuitive.. A few guys at work have them for their, you guessed it Glocks, and they love them.....

I like that set up. I wish my agency went to that system. We currently issue the 6280, and after looking at the new holsters available, I want one. I was assisting another agency and they saw what we were issued and just shook their heads, they were issued the 6360 and showed me the system up close. Very nice.....I may have to submit a letter to the Academy to T&E the holster. But with the budget the way it is (SUCKS), it will probably not get looked at.

I'm with you on this one. Safariland doesn't seem to make too much that's compatible with rail accessories, particularly the HK45. I'll shoot them an e-mail, but I have a feeling it'll require more than 2 people to get them to manufacture it....

I know it will take more than a few emails, that's why I was hoping to garner some support here... there are a lot of guys on here who have bought the HK45, so I figured this was the place to start the idea...

I e-mailed them asking about a P30 with light holster (not the same as 45 but still lets them know there is new HK market) and they simply said they got nothing. Right now the only choice is Raven, which while appearing to be a fine holster is only a level 1 retention.

lets keep this going.... the more emails they get requesting this, the more likely we are to have it on their line up after the first of the year!

this is a little off topic but does anyone know if the Safariland 6378-295 for the p30 will work with the 45c?

I carry my HK45 with X300 in the 6280 (for the G-21). A few co-workers with Glocks have the 6360 setups, great setup. I doubt that we will see it for the HK45 until the gun is produced stateside and adopted by some big departments.
