When did the frames change on the USPc 45?

Wondering what year HK made the change on the USPc 45 frame from the round front to the squared off type that is on the other USPc's? just to clarify Im talking about the area right in front of the rail. Reason I ask is cause I like the round front vs. the square and will be trying to aquire a second USPc 45 since I like this one so much I figure that a CT and one in HE will go nicly with my AB SS

All of my HK USPc 45's and USP CT's have the rounded front... and they are all new. AH or AI.

This has been discussed here before a few times, and IIRC, no one ever came up with a definitive answer. A search should provide some reading on the subject. BTW, if you check the USP picture thread in the galleries, you'll find quite a few examples of each.
