I ran accross a HK P 9 not p9s in pristine condtion box and 2 mags manual. It looked like a double action gun. It's serial number began with 090 so I believe it is one of the 485 that were made from 69 to 78 date is 72. Any idea on the value of this pistol? Thanks Mel

dont see those everyday, so I am just gonna guess at around 800-1000 depending on condition(and box and manual for P9)

This p9 9mm is a single action with a trigger stop but it does not have a adjustable sight. It is diffenently LNIB with mannual test target and a P9S schematic in back of the manual. It's rear sight is not like a compat model. It is shorter and thinner. Is it the same as all 485 p9 that were made? Thanks Mel

I would buy it if in reasonable condition, and priced accordingly. I have never seen one for sale anywhere, and I look around for these. 800 to 1K would be a good price unless it is mint in the box unfired-then that would be a great price:cool:

My local Cabela's has one that appears to be in great shape for $800.
I hear they are great to suppress. I have a non-LID 9mm can that would love to go for a ride on that pistol...

The last poster is most likely talking about a P9S and not a P9. So, ignore that.
i80mel - This is a VERY rare gun. Like you mentioned there were only 485 produced. I would say that it is probably worth closer to $3k depending on condition and desire for a collectors item. If you could get it for around $2k, then I would consider it a good deal.
Hope that helps,
Bo
