So I bought a new spurred hammer to install on my usp comp from: http://www.cdnninvestments.com/hkusp9mdahan.html But the hammer i received from them looks a little different. It does not have a notch for the hammer catch and it has some extra grooves and notches as well. I'm thinking it's the hammer from the first gen USP. So does anyone know any other sites to buy USP hammers? fortunately it was only 10 bucks. Got what I paid for i suppose.

The spurred hammer has a piece that my uspc does not.

The notch in my compact for the catch.

Also, I've pulled out the spurred hammer from my full size and it is identical to my compact hammer. I switched them with each other they are interchangeable.

You mean calling HK directly? Can I order through them?

In 1995 the hammer was revised. I figured the ones CDNN had were the old ones. New hammers from HK are $91.00 the old hammer also uses a different catch and sear. The hammers for the USP and USPC are identical. If you find one at a good price, please pass the source down to me.

Thanks

Around $90 makes a lot more sense. Almost couldn't believe an H&K part for less than $40. Again, I got what I paid for, a phased out part.
