? about switching complete uppers on usp's

i have a 40 usp lower. Can i just put my complete 9mm upper slide on it and fire it without any problems? - magwell is the same size.....am i overlooking something? wanted to check before i lose a hand or worse. thank you

I compared my USP40f with my USP9f. They're right in front of me now. The recievers are identical. They even have the same ejector.

thanks sigtrarianThey're IDENTICAL! They fit! I don't have to fire them this way since I have both. But since they are identical, including part numbers, they will work.

You can swap 9mm and 40 slides without an issue. However, you can encounter problems if the "lower" is later than a KF date code and any of the slides are date codes KF and earlier.

The reason is that the disconnector is different on those model years.
