I have been wearing the combo for about 2 weeks now. The MTAC build quality is very good. Extremely comfortable to wear all day. I actually had to decrease the retention on the holster so I could get a good draw from it, but other than that it's great. The p30 has it's ups and downs as far a CCW goes. The weight is fine, it is comfortable enough to carry around all day, but it's size does hamper concealability a bit. The grip is full size, so if I bend over or twist too far you can see the bottom of it printing through your shirt. This is ok for me though as the subcompact guns that I checked out just aren't comfortable in my hand. My pinky finger hangs off the grip and I don't like it. Thumbs up to comptac for a nice product!

I have a Comp-Tac MTAC for my P2000 and I agree it is a good quality holster with good retention. One thing it excels at for an IWB holster is re-holstering.

What I don't like about it: there is too much of it! The part of the clips that go down inside your clothing are fairly bulky, compared to most other IWB holsters. And if I need to take it off to go inside some place where CCW is not legal, the MTAC is so big, it will barely fit inside the gun bag I keep in my trunk for this purpose!

So..... most days I carry my P2000 in a High Noon Split Decision IWB. Smaller, easier to put on and take off, less bulky, more comfortable, cheaper.... the only thing I give up is the ability to easily re-holster. Rarely is that needed, in my experience. A nice feature? Sure. Often used? Hardly, unless you are using it for IDPA or some other specialized use.

I recently ordered one the other day. I am anxious to get it. I ordered it with the velcro clips and also have a belt with velcro linear on the way from the beltman. I hope I am happy with it.

You have the standard P30? I'd like to order my third shirt tucker, this time for the P30L I came home with today. Comp Tac lists the P30, but no L version and no "slide" version Either. I suppose I can call and ask them to make me one with a little more room.

They can only really make molds of what they have. If they don't have that particular gun, you're not going to get one for that gun. I'm fairly certain they vacuum form the Kydex around a mold of the gun. So.. no gun, no mold, no holster.

I could also be entirely wrong. I'm really just making assumptions, but my thinking is consistent (at least to me). :)
