Just bought over 400 bucks worth of H&K mags(SA80-High Rel./G36 30rnd/Jet Funnel)
Scouping up all the parts for my G36 conversion.(folding stock, bolt, magwell,30rnd mags, etc)
Picked up a HK45C,threaded barrel and Thread Protector

If I can find them, probably pick up a Mark 23, 9mm Expert w/ Jet Funnel, and a USC/UMP
(and of course various other black rifles)

I can't be the only crazy one with a Credit Card - So let's hear your election buying spree's.

I don't have too much down the pipeline in terms of HK unless a MK23 comes my way or the 416 is released. I am on the waitlist for an LWRC M6A2 and Barrett Rec 7. I'm also gonna be picking up a springfield m1a in the next week or two as well.

They aren't being made anyway, so the supply shouldn't be effected by any new bans. well you never know until we see the ban, but I'd be surprised if importation of handguns and assault rifles is not baned enitrely

"SO FAR" this election has landed me: a Vulcan V10/45 MAC clone, a Coharie CA94FS, a Vector V93, a GSG-5, an Ar-15 pistol, another lower for my dedicated .22lr AR-15 upper, a BYF43 P-38, a CETME Sporter, and a Steyr M40A1. I also have a DSArms receiver on order, and about an equal dollar value for extra magazines, quad-rails, folding stocks, tactical lights, and ammo. I've been too afraid to tally the credit cards yet, but I'm pretty sure we're getting close to $10,000.00.

I'm with you on this one. My thought was look to see what was done in the past (Brady Law) and use that as an example. I doubt we'll see a ban on importing hand guns, but you never know what this guy is going to do.

I had intended to get something for CCW but the new pres was motivation to get it down quickly so I picked up a P2000sk and 2 13rd mags. Sold a glock and bought a P30 and 2 additional 15rd'ers. After my brother in Komiefornia told me any gun w/ a threaded barrel is considered an assault weapon out there I decided to pick up a USP SD with 2 jet funnel mags. I may or may not have 1,000 rounds of Federal hollow points under my bed. Also illegal in Mexifornia ;)

I'd count on a full import ban for a few reasons, but mostly because there is already a new ban in place blocking all small arms and ammo from china, russia, and korea. Not to mention the 1989 import ban that already blocks import of 'assault weapons'. Combine that with Obama's already having sponsored a ban of all handguns in Illinois. It doesn't take much of a stretch to put those pieces together and find yourself looking at an import ban of all firearms or at least all handguns and a continued ban of all assault rifles importation.

I got a Sig 556 Pistol SWAT (has the Quad Rail), a Sig 556 Commando, 2 NightHawk T3's, loads of ammo, a HK USPc in .40SW, and have been taking others out and teaching them about guns and shooting and have actually gotten some Sig P220's sold. Seems like the new shooters take to the Sig's better than the HK's. I may still get an HDPS UMP, and am hunting for a HK416 Upper.

Talking to a local sporting goods retailer today and the department manager claims they have sold 500 guns since the election. They're all sold out of 7.62x39 and all of their .308 other than the Hornady stuff. All the AR and AK stuff is gone and most all except the high end hand guns (HK and custom 1911s, .32s and .22s) are gone. Pretty amazing stuff. Glad I have had pretty much everything I've ever needed beforehand. Ammo is my only real issue now, but that's been an issue for a while. :(

HK related, I picked up a used USP 45 AB date coded for a tad over 500 after tax. Barrel and recoil rod had a little wear at their ends, barrel hood had rub marks, and the right side of the slide had a few finish marks, but for under 500 pre-tax with 2 12rd mags, grey box, all paperwork, and the lockout key I couldn't say no.

I just ordered a USPf .45 to replace the one I sold a year ago. It was the only gun I ever sold that I truly missed. I won't make the same mistake again. I would kindly advise everyone who can legally do so in their state to order at least a couple of high capacity magazines for your pistol(s) while you can.
