I just picked up a 45CT and before I drop some money on ammo I'm wondering which load prints the best with the factory sights? 230gr or 180gr?

230 grain for me too. I use Federal 230 Hydra Shock ( very accurate round, ) 230 HST, Winchester Ranger T RA45T IN 230 grains. All NON +P loads.
Ohhhh, too many choices. Pick what your gun shoots the most accurate and feeds reliable.

Are you looking for an accurate range or SD load?

IMO 230gr is the way to go either way with the exception of the 185gr Barnes X Bullet loaded by Cor Bon in the "DPX" line, because along with Speer Gold Dots, Ranger Talons (the current ones, not the ancient Black Talons and SXTs), and Federal HSTs are the best SD bullets out there.

I use 230gr Remington Golden Sable and 230 gr Federal Hyda Shock. Both excellent! Also, I got them at a good price.
