Anyone sent off for LEM conversion at HK usa?

I called, and finally got through with approval to send my USP in for the LEM switch. However, I forgot to ask if I can just send in the base or if they need the whole gun. I can't get through to them again.

Anyone know if I can send them just the base to save on shipping?

I just sent my HK45 in for a LEM conversion and they wanted the complete gun overnighted to them. Check out the HK-USA web site in the FAQ section. It tells you everything you have to do. I got my gun back in three days.
