What's the "DE" stand for (behind the serial #)

It basically means "Made In Germany".

No, not every HK firearm made in Germany has "DE" mark on. The earlier made ones don't have "DE" mark.

DE = Deutschland. Signifies "Made In Germany".
There has been several threads about it, search the forum for "DE" or "Deutschland" if you need more info.

Ok, thanks. I have a USpc 9mm, and it does not have that on it.

Germany firearm makers just started marking them this year. Supposedly it is some new law that requires them to do this. There was a thread on Sigforum with some good info about this.

I have two IA coded USCs and the one that I just got now has the "DE" engraved in the receiver after the serial number; the first (older) one did not.

U'd think that all of those other symbols would be sufficient (that signify it was made in Germany). Wow.
