Need an answer as a guy is selling his CTAC for his compact USP 45 and I've got a compact USP 40....will this work guys? Thanks.
ETA: I'm guessing the compact USP 45 has a slightly larger frame so it won't work....but not for sure.

The width is the same. But is the extra 1/4 inch in length all barrel & slide or reciever also? And has anybody tried a 9, 40, or 357 in a C-Tac marked .45c? Leather holsters seem to all be interchangable so that leads me to believe the .40 will probably just not come out flush with the end of the holster like the .45 does. Maybe a plus for protecting the finish against carry wear.
