i picked up an HK P30 at my local sportsmans warehouse. this weapon feels great in my hand! the trigger seems to suck, but its certainly servicable. i made up my mind the second it hit my hand...i gotta have one and i want it before christmas. SW wanted $799.99 for the weapon but before i pay that i wanna try to beat it online (im told i got beat up paying $950 for my hk45). who currently has the best pricing on the P30?
thanks,

CDNN

P30 for $705 Shipped
HK45 for $830 Shipped

Call 1800 588 9500 and ask for Marshall - he'll hook you up, if they're out of stock he'll take your # down and give you a call when it's back in stock.

The problem is finding someone who has one in stock when you want to buy. AFAIK, CDNN had the best recent price at ~$730, but no stock when I was ready to buy. I paid $783 about 2 weeks ago, that price included 2nd day air delivery. I and others have seen prices as high $1050!

CDNN has the best price for a NIB P30 but due to their low prices they sell out fast. It may be hard to find one as they seem to sold out everywhere. IMO $799 is too much for the P30 as the gun is not worth it.

...is there something in particular about the P30 that you dont like or just in general?

Agreed, P30 is a great gun, but it's not worth $800 + TAX...

I just ordered my P30L from CDNN and it was $750 or $760 SHIPPED

I'd give around $700 for the P30 and not a penny more.

Seems like nickels and dimes. Over the course of the lifetime, $50 or $60? For something you really want? A quality piece that is relatively tough to find?

And you will pass for $60? Up to you, but I paid $780 + tax + brady. It was a local guy, so I am supporting the local economy.

All this stress about a few bucks. Less than 3 boxes of WWB to break it in. If you need the money that much, go Glock...

You say nickels and dimes, but I say patience. $50 isn't that bad if that's the OTD cost, but I was talking $100 + tax on the $800.

Whatever $ you save from buying at a good price can be just that much more $ towards mags/ammo/or the next HK. I mean some people do have a budget and kids!

- Sold all my Glocks, don't need them anymore since I've found HKs.

So you are saying because I don't anguish over even $100, I have no life or budget?

Heh heh. I just have different priorities, I guess. Trying to support local businesses in these trying times is higher on my list than sending my money to Abilene. If that costs me a bit more, I accept that.

It is not an easy choice for me. I got really CRAPPY service at my local shop. Almost decided to forgo them and buy elsewhere. But I am involved in a retail business, and I know how friggin hard times are right now. And I know one bad experience shouldn't spoil my opinion.

You wanna save a C-note by buying elsewhere, I certainly respect your choice. But don't claim I have no budget nor life because I make a different choice.

Sorry, I apologize, I was in a rush and typed life - I meant to put kids.

Heck these days, who isn't on a budget... that being said, I spent roughly the same at a gunshop than I would have after ordering online, shipping, FFL tranfer fee. This was a while back though, it might be different right this moment.

Now ammo on the other hand, the local shops will rip you good. NATCHEZ IS MY FRIEND!

I like the P30 but soooo many people put so much damn stock into the ergonomics of the grip. Well, that's great and all, and I mean that but you can just buy grips and get an ergonomic feel for a drastically reduce price...comparably speaking of course.

CDNN prices are up, bought a P30L Thursday, it was $795 plus shipping. They do not have any P30's in stock (as of late last week). Keith said they were out of most guns in general. They still have the 2000SK combo deal, 40/357, 2000 9mm, HK45, and a NO mags for the P30. He did say they had them on order.

A Hogue slip on is nothing compared to the P30 grip. The Hogue can not be tailored to your hand, and adds a bit of girth to the grip. The P30 has a much more comfortable grip than any aftermarket grip I've ever felt. Also, how would buying a new HK something else and putting a hogue on it be drastically cheaper than just buying a P30? If you're talking about buying a Glock and putting a Hogue on it, good luck. It will just feel like carrying a brick with a piece of rubber wrapped around it.
