View Full Version : Will a P30sk be next ??
Anyone have any inside info or just plain rumor if H&K has any plans to offer a P30sk? Figure it would be their next likely progression in the P30 series (of course after a .40/.357 P30).
Hmmm....guess no one has heard a peep. I know I can't be the only one wondering if there will be a P30sk. I'd buy one.

HK will only make it if an agency asks them for one.

It would be cool, but no absolutely no talk what so ever of this happening.

No more different then the P30L compared to the P30.

I for one don't think so. When they downsized the HK45 to the HK45c they went with a P2000 style grip. A sub-compact P30 without finger grooves on the grip is called a P2000sk 9mm and it already exists. :D

Do a search, I remember a post by an attendee at milipol a couple years ago that said there was a P30 Kompakt (not to be construed as the P30 is a compact version of the P30L, which is the full size). He was not allowed to photograph it at the time, I have seen no further mention of it. Shot is just a couple weeks away though!

I agree that a P30sk will never see the light of day, but a P2000sk with an extended floor plate really does have a finger grooved grip.

I'd be all over it like white on rice. The grip compared to the SK is...well, there's no comparison IMO.
It shouldn't be hard at all for HK to chop the grip down.
Then again...it probably won't happen. If the HK45 had the 'spidey' grip with adjustable panels- again...would probably get it.
I have stupid smallish hands and to me the grip is a critical thing, especially for concealed carry.

Everyone keeps comparing the P2000sk and I simply do not see that; I sold my P2000 and opted for the P30 strictly based on the grip; not the same obviously. It would be great to see a P30c; I would buy one on the spot!

im surprised that hk doesnt have more than one sub compact weapon. it would make selling a specific pistol line more appealing to government agencies that can equip their patrol units with the larger p30/usp/uspc/hk45 and equip their plain clothes officers with a subcompact gun of the same model as patrol. this way the department stays uniformed, mags can be shared, and patrol can carry an off duty that is the same make and model of their duty weapon. Basically HK should take a page out of Glocks book.
