Just tooling around my local gunshop and found an excellent condition, barely if ever fired USPc .40. Unfortunately, only one mag(12 round) and no box, etc. Asking $525 and I got them down to $450. Any opinions?
Thanks,
Derek

That's what I thought too, so I went back this evening and bought it. Actually, I traded a Glock 27 which I paid $389 for 11 years ago. This gun shop gave $375 for the Glock, so I only had to pony up $75 for the HK.
Can't wait to shoot this bad boy.

I was looking through a gallery of USP photos and noticed two different grip styles on the USPs. One says "HK USP" while the second only has "USP". Any significance to this difference?

I've never noticed that before. It looks like the newer guns have USP on both sides instead of HK usp on the left and the patent info on the right side. Someone will chime in with a time line. What date code is your new 40? You are smelling like a rose on that trade IMO!!!!

Date code is AG...so a 2006, I believe. Holds true to your theory that the newer HSPs have only "HSP" on the grip as that's what mine looks like.
