Converting USP rail to 1913?

I don't know why HK has to make the USP's rail like that... hard to find light/laser/mount accessories. I love the guns but damn the stupid rails...

Any possibility to convert it to the 1913/Picatinny rails? and I don't mean using an adaptor, won't fit the holster.

Not without butchery! I'm not a rail fan anyway, though. That said, after a couple of measurements, there seems to be enough extra plastic to do it.

When the USP first came out it was the only pistol with a rail. It was meant for the UTL light. Too bad they don't update the USP with a 1913 rail. It's nice to have on my HK45 :-)
