My dealer has both guns in stock for the same price. I would like to hear opinions on both guns, advantages, etc. I have the USP 9c and the USP 45c and I am not really looking for a carry gun, is the long slide the way to go.
Will this gun take the same mags as my USP, thanks for the help,

When I saw the P30L at the local dealer, my jaw dropped and I asked if I could check it out, all the while saying to myself, "I'm going to buy this today".
With gun in hand, the first thing that caught my attention was the "ergo" grip. It felt perfect for my medium size hands. The controls felt comfortable as well. Then I slid my trigger finger into the trigger guard and this is where things became disappointing. The trigger reset was long in comparison to my most recent USP40. The sights were very visible and would do for my needs but I just couldn't get over the trigger.
I know some of you are saying, "just drop in a better trigger" but here in Canada, H&K representation and accessories aren't as easy to come by. If it wasn't for the trigger, I would have become the proud new owner of the P30L.

I just bought an HK45 today at the gunshow - but I held both the P30 and P30L too.
The P30L is my next purchase! :D

Well I just got through shooting my P30 at the range. I've been dry firing it quite a bit and I have about 400 rds through it. The trigger seems to have improved a bit but I don't find it to be that bad. But that's just my opinion. It would be hard for me not to recommend the P30 to anyone looking at the line. It's one sweet shooting gun.

My P30 is slightly more accurate than my P30L. Wierd but true.
