Last week, I bought one of the USP's that SOG had/has for sale. Quick rundown, it came with 2 18rnd mags,Jet funnel installed, night sights, LEM (V1) took'er out for a spin today..I'll be honest I've shot alot of handguns over the years, but I've never shot a HK before this afternoon.. Long story short, I'm shocked, this thing is a frick'in laser beam!! I was hitting pop cans out as far as 35yds offhand...I'm very impressed with the accuracy of this handgun. I was shooting my loads,(250rnds) 115gr FMJ, and some unique, worked very well. I had NO failures of any kind, it fed, fired, ejected, every round without any problems, and if I did my part, would put them where I pointed...I can see where the LEM trigger could be very quick on follow up shots the trigger reset was very distinct, and with a little more shooting on my part be very easy to do double taps. The only problem I had with it was getting all18 rnds in the mags. I'm quite impressed, Without a doubt this would make a excellant combat, home defense, duty pistol. There are not many handguns that I've ever owned that shot this well right out of the box..and considering I've never fired one, and was able to very well with it the first time out, says alot..This one's a keeper!!!

Congrats on your purchase! You'll find that HK's are as versatile as you need them to be, and wait till you try it with the match trigger component. I'm sure you'll love that as well.

I'm sure this won't be your last HK. I started with the USP because that was always my dream gun. A month later, HK45.... Enjoy your HK!

Enjoy. Just picked up a USPc 9mm tonight. I'll take it to the range tomorrow and give it a run. I'm sure it will be as wonderful as my P30 and HK45c. I just wanted a classic HK and the USP has such classic lines. I love these guns, but my wallet says it's time to just relax and shoot these babies for awhile.

Congrats on your new USP, youre right, they are a great pistol. All of mine are more accurate than anyone would ever imagine from a polymer combat pistol. All mine are also so reliable, its almost stupid hehehe :)

Enjoy your USP!

I have 2 USP 45's and love them to death. In over 10 years, not a single malfunction ever. Shoot the hell out of it, mine just seem to get more accurate every time I shoot them. ENJOY!:43:
