Anyone use the rubber or the sand decal grips on their USP? If so how do you like them?? I was leaning towards the rubber.

I've never cared for rubbery or tacky grips, especially if cloth (as in shirt tails can stick or slightly catch on them. I've handled the 'cat's tongue' type, and they're not bad.
I prefer the 'Rubber' texture ones over the 'Sand' texture, 'Sand' is a bit more abrasive. Plus the 'Rubber' texture adds slightly more girth for my large hands. 'Rubber' = 1/32" thick / 'Sand' = 1/40" thick
Actually Im ordering a pair for my USP OD Green Tactical .45 now.

If your are not going to take the plunge and heat stipple the grips etc, 3m anti slip stair tape at 8-10 a roll is always a good choice.

The rubber ones work AWESOME. I have had them on my 9mm USPc for over a year. And, I just got a 45 USPc about 6 weeks ago. Immediately ordered a pair.
It was kinda tough finding a pair for the USPc 45. Many places sell decal grips online, but some are sold out of specific ones.
Anyway - I e-mailed them and asked if they had any plans for a set for the HK45 - but never got a response.
I have handled new HK USPcs (desert colored frames) with the sand decal grips already installed. Too rough. The rubber ones are perfect.
And, I'd say get these before ya start getting grip tape and such - as these are made to fit already.

Hi,
Here is a thread discussing what to do when the decal grip starts to come off as it did on my HK USP .45, even so I like them. At first I just trimmed off the lower portion of the decal grip but I have bought replacment decal grips.
No need to replace the entire thing just yet.
