A friend at my local gun shop called today and said he had just traded for something I might be interested in looking at. He knew I was an HK fan and said he had never seen one of these HK's. I had not either but wanted a look. It is unfired and in mint condition in .380 with the .22 conversion kit. My wifey gave me a dirty look and I really didn't need to buy another gun right now but it followed me home. Anyone know how many of these were made?

Supposedely 2000 were made. IIRC they didn't actually make that many due to a lack of sales-I have no proof of that just what I heard. Mine is in the 260 +/-10 range. Yours is the highest SN I remember seeing. You might want to check the condition of the buffer. Mine was a rotted crumbly mess. My 100th anniversary had never been fired and looked worse than the used one I recently picked up off a member here. How much did you get it for?

I paid $ 445 for it. Probably not a steal but I think I did O.K. I have plenty more guns to shoot than I have opportunity so I may leave this one as is. Any place to buy spare buffers just in case I want to use it?

How are these hk4''s to shoot? They look like a nice little gun, just curious on there performance. And does anyone carry this pistol??

I had a chance to pick up one of those babys in Houston about 2 years ago I pasted and have always wish I hadn't! I don't remember the price but I don't remember it being to much for a gun I wasn't going to shoot often, nice find dude!

$445 is pretty good for a H&R 100th anniversary HK4. A regular HK4 in 380 with a 22 conversion will run you more than you paid for yours usually. I ordered my buffers from Numrich gun parts. Here is a link.
