I curious how those who purchased the Jarvis USP barrels are liking them? I'm hoping those who've puts some rounds through them will chime in. Any issues?
Thanks,

I bought one about a year ago for my USP .45 Match clone. It was the one which required fitting (they also sell a drop - in version). After very minor fitting by my local smith, it ran flawlessly from the start. Accuracy is outstanding, every bit as good as the factory barrel. My only complaint is the barrel is slightly harder to clean because of the difference in the rifleing, but I knew that would be the case before I bought it. I have not fired any non - jacketed rounds, but I expect the accuracy would be just as good as with the jacketed ones. I believe that they tool up to make different barrels different times of the year, so when I ordered mine in late 2007, it was early 2008 before I got it. It was worth the wait.
Which pistol are you considering buying one for?

I had a 40 match ported Jarvis for the match clone I made, and loved it. Accuracy was great, and mine ran 100% right out of the package. unfortunately I recently sold it and the match weight on here due to some financial strains.

what about the other brands of rifled barrels? How do they stack up? (I know EFK firedragon makes some. I think there was another brand too but I forget)
I know Hk also makes a standard rifling barrel. Do the custom barrels surpass the accuracy of the standard HK rifled barrels?

Jarvis are fantastic barrels. I know a lot of people who run them and I have one for my USPCT clone before I switched to the HK CT barrel just to have the HK markings. The Jarvis is every bit as accurate as the HK, just as reliable, and totally 100% safe without question when it comes to shooting cast. There is no down side to a Jarvis barrel.

Have 2 Jarvis barrels for my USPf 45. Both function perfectly and are very accurate. I have one in 45acp and the other in 400Corbon which will be getting machined out to a 40 super barrel as soon as Double Tap Ammo makes the 200g WFNGC ammo he's said is on the way. Finally 10mm woods carry power from my USP.
