Hello there,
been lurking for a while, trying to get my hands on a P30 that didn't cost more than an arm and a leg. I have been renting one from my Local Gun Club to make sure i'd like it :D. Anyhow I picked one up and went to the range yesterday. 175 rounds of WWB with 0 issues. I was watching out for FTE's as some have experienced, but I didn't have any.
That leads me to my question, how many of you have the Minotaur MTAC Holster from comp-tac? It looks to be relatively comfortable, yet I've never worn a gun in a holster so what do i know.
Also if anyone has pictures of a P30 in a Minotaur MTAC Holster, i would sure like to see them.
Thanks guys for your time,

p30L no malfunctions 600rds. I did however run 450 rds of 124 grain Fiocchi to work her in. The 124 Fiocchi are hotter than conventional loads and close to NATO spec which the gun is designed to shoot. NATO spec is pretty much our +p loads.

Thanks for all the replies guys.. I have read that +p is similar to NATO spec.

I have the CTAC and it is a great holster. It's the only holster I've carried my P30 in. The little leather straps held up wonderfully through their first Sonoran Desert summer. It is very comfortable to carry with, and the adjustable cant allows me to conceal the gun very well. The only other holster I would check out are the ones from Raven Concealment. They can be worn inside and outside the waistband, and seem to be very high quality. They're about the same price as the Comp-Tac.

more than 1500 rounds through my P30 and never an issue. WWB, Remington, Blazer, Federal HST all with never a hint of any trouble.
I do carry a M-Tac, but it's for my P2000SK not for my P30. I plan on ordering the P30 shell to swap out since the M-Tac is so comfortable.

I will vouch for Raven Concealment Holsters.
The Phantom Modular Holster to be specific.

I also ordered one for my P30 & USP
And I currently have one for a S&W M&P9 and a 1911.
They are the best holsters that I have every used. (Slim, lightweight, tight to the body)

I had a handful of FTE's with WWB 115g between the 2,000 and 10,000 round marks with my P30. Since then, mine has fed the last 2,500 rounds of Blazer Brass 115g without any issues. The last 12,000 rounds have gone through the same magazine.
A shooting buddy ordered the Comp Tac Minataur holster for his P30, then offered it to me before sending it back. Both of us found it to be comfortable, but a little too bulky. My P30 fits the Ugly Bald Guy IWB I bought for my USP .40c almost as though it was made for it.
