Normally, I'm a NIB kinda guy. But while wandering through Cabelas this morning, I came accross an HK45 for $675. Talked to the outfitter and discovered it came with no extras. Just one lonely clip. This thing looks brand new. There are no marks on the slide and the barrel looked great. I asked if the number were negotiable and they dropped to $625. So, my USP 40 now has a companion.

What should it have come with new and can anyone suggest a place to get different back straps?

NIB comes with the plastic case, 2 mags, spent casing, gun lock, lockout key, med and large removable backstraps, manual/warranty card.
Dunno where to get the straps other than HK and apparently not very receptive.

If you can live without the bumf (which clearly you can) then yes, IMO that is a good deal. They are out there.....

One of the local shops around here had one for the longest time for $749, used but came with everything. It sat for a while, and for whatever reason, they decided to bump it up last month to $799. If you can get it for $625 with one clip, that is a great deal (as long as it's a HK45 and not a USP)
