I have a HK USP TAC .45 I bought it new about 2 years ago I would say and I am sure it has no more than 500 round threw it. Its in perfect perfect shape very clean. What do you think some thing like this should sale for? I of course have every thing the pistol came with. Surely it would bring every bit of 950.00 with the way prices are going these days? Any way..... your thoughts would be helpfull. Thanks guys

$950 is a joke IMO. Maybe $700 if you're lucky. Keep it or trade it, like most things non speciality mass produced guns depreciate significantly once "used" however light that use is.

Hmm I saw them going for 1200 and 1300 at the last show, just thought it would be about right, lets see what some other people have to say.

There are a number on gunbroker in those ranges BUT none of them have bidders. $950 may be an OK value in comparison to what others are asking, but what are they actually selling for? Did you notice a mad rush at this show? No offence intended, and I'm happy to be corrected if necessary.

those prices you are commenting on is for "evil assault rifles". Some folks are hoping to ride that market by pricing their handguns to high dollar amounts, but it isn't taking There a lot used HK handguns out there on the net with high prices that are not moving.

I just paid 1025.OO for a brand new one at an Auth HK dealer, so 950.00 for a used one seems a bit high to me as well. Maybe 800,850 tops on a good day.

800-850 is about right for one used. Some go for more than that, but generally they have extra mags or other redeeming qualities/accessories. That's what I've seen them go for locally where I live, when they are available.

just tell you the reality of it. but if you think really highly of your handgun, then go ahead and value that used gun at close to retail

Darn good price! A steal at $50.00 under full retail for a used piece. Is that what you want to hear?

Just bought a AH date code - perfect condition - 100 rounds - $800 out the door. (Bought the UTL afterwards) Believe it or not, they have the EXACT gun there again, same price, but only with one mag! (Mine had two.) In all fairness, I've bought a bunch of guns there, and I have an annual membership to the range, so I doubt that price would be extended to just any Tom, Dick, or Harry.

Good luck with your sale, not sure why you'd want to sell such a wonderful home defense weapon?

Used to be Gordon Miller. As you can imagine, they're now sold out.

I looked at one today at a gun store. It was slightly used for 750.

I am a Team Guy stationed in Panama City Beach and HK is THE sidearm of choice (with SIG a close second). Personally, mine is a Mk 23 but I have big hands. Almost all of us have HKs as personal guns as well and I own 5 but I have bought and sold 4 USP 45 Tacticals in an effort to keep gaining something each time (tactical soft case, mags, sites, dual safety). I think I have my pulse on the Tactical "market".

Remember, what sells on this forum is usually a little less due to extremely savvy HK guys but if you throw your gun on some other ones (as well of course) you'll find markets a little leaner with HKs. That will/can work totally to your advantage, but not always.

What price can you fetch??? COMPLETELY depends on what's offered. Soft case? Night sites? Hicaps or 10rounders? This weighs SIGNIFICANTLY when I buy one. Here's the breakout as I see it:

Case can fetch you at least an extra $100 sold separately
HiCaps fetch $50 a piece
Nite Sites easily $50 (depending of course)

Think on that.

USP 45CT w/ soft eagle HK tac case $819 about a month ago. Full size next to it was within a few bucks of that.

I bought mine brand new about two months ago for 929.00, so 950 seems pretty high IMO.
