Serial #/date code correlation

I am waiting for two different USPc's to be delivered to me but when I started filling in my inventory list, something jumped out at me. One of the guns has a KK (99) date code and the serial # starts with 27-021XX and the other has an AE (04) date code and the serial # starts with 26-069XXX.

This does't make sense and now I'm just a little worried that one of these may have mixed and matched parts.

Am I worried about nothing?

Have a look at this list you'll see that one is a .40 and the other a 9mm

Can't wait! The USPc stainless 9mm came in to my dealer today and the .40 will be there Mon/Tue...unfortunately I won't be able to get there till next Friday so I just keep looking at the pics the sellers sent to me.
