Minty P9S .45 with 2 mags. Clean and perfect in most ways!
Worth the trade?

If the P9S .45 is a "Target" model with adjustable sights & trigger, I'd never trade it for a 556 (which is a very nice rifle by the way). Even if it's the usual P9S .45 combat model I would keep it.

Conventional wisdom might (might!) indicate the 556 is worth more than a P9S .45 combat, but you can easily find plenty of Sig 556 rifles any time you want. And you'll notice that so-called "wisdom" is blathered by people who've never fired a P9S .45 (target or combat). Find a guy who shoots his P9S .45 and you'll never get it away from him regardless of conventional "values". It's simply a fantastic combat handgun -- a shooters pistol like few others.

The Sig is certainly a nice rifle, but they are easy to get and there are plenty of other nice rifles. The P9S .45 is something very special and you're lucky to have one.

Moneywise, you're coming out ahead. How much depends on the Sig. Rails, red dot, etc... But Camdon is right. Keep your nice P9 and go on GB and pick up a new or used 556 all day long(for now).

Good choice. You can always get a 556 later on.
