Hello all,
I am looking a P2000 .40 LEM as a CCW.... my questions are: does the width of the trigger guard on the P2000 compared to the width of say a Glock's guard cause any concealment problems? Also, has anyone experienced any problems with the trigger pinching their fingers as the trigger travels close to the trigger guard? And finally has anyone regretted their purchase and went back to their Glock?
Thanks in advance,
Chuck Wilkinson

I own a P2000 40 LEM and use it for my CCW and love it.. The only upgrade I would recommend would be some flat baseplates for your magazines. I have found that if I use flat baseplates on my my magazines they do not print on my clothing when CCW like the extended baseplates do. During the Summertime though I carry something a little smaller like a S&W airweight in a ankle holster. Hope this helps..If you are not intrested in wheelguns then I would recommend the P2000sk which a a compact version of the P2000 if you do a search on this forum you will find lots of information on both...
The following review on Youtube will answer your question about the trigger coming close to the triggerguard. Good review too.

Went from a G23 to a P2000 for carry, no regrets. Go with flat baseplates and a Sparks VM II.

Wish I could get Factory HK Mags for 5 dollars, you cant even find baseplates for that cheap! But the review was very good great insight on the P2000.

No issues with the trigger guard printing. My two carry guns are a G19 and an HK45c (almost identical in size to P2k), and I have a much easier time concealing the 45c. The rounded edges at the rear of the slide (instead of a square corner) and grip angle that sticks toward my back more than straight up aid in this. I have the same holster for both (Milt Sparks VM2), and the 45c is noticably easier to hide wearing the same t-shirts.

Anyone know where to order flat floorplates for USP Compact .40 12rd mags?
Part # HK215662
Every place I've tried seems to have them on permanent backorder.

Baggy shirts, not tucted in. Double thikness belt. IWB, SMALL OF BACK. You have a natual indentation at the small of your back. I carry Expert 9mm--- no printing!

i havent had problems until recently concealing my hk p2000sk but it was because of the clothes i was wearing. instead of changing clothes i swaped to my glock 23 which is larger but thinner than the p2ksk.

I use a Comp-Tac CTAC Holster (IWB) and I keep it adjusted so the trigger guard and most of the gun is behind my Beltman gun belt.
I find the grip is thinner than the Glock and do not have a problem with the standard magazines printing. At 5'10" and 250 lbs. I find the gun blends into my love handles. I have carried at the range in front of a CCW class covered by a tee shirt and no one knew.
I carry at 8-9 o'clock (Lefty) with one spare mag on the opposite side in a Comp-Tac mag pouch.
No problems with the trigger. I run a LEM with the light springs (See BIG BORE Sticky!).
