My Expert 9mm NIB [ bought 3 weeks ago from senior member ] was exported [ 12/04 ] with all black front and rear sights [ micro adj. ].
I am having problems with the lack of contrast on all black sights! Do you all think painting the front sight white would help??????????

Can't find any ADJ. Factoy sights painted white or night sights.

HK stopped importing the Expert 9mm in late '04, they still import the Expert in .40 and 45 cal.

Those guns now come with, it looks like at least WHITE SIGHTS.

please help!

Err, this is a somewhat weird question. :-)

On a target pistol like the Expert you WANT to have all black front and rear sights for maximum contrast against the (paper) target. This is of course not perfect for quick target aquisition in combat shooting, IPSC or the like - but for precision target shooting all black sights are the best way to go.

Valynor,
I "multi task" my experts, target, IDPA and sometimes my carry weapon. Red works! (for me)

best option would probably be a fiber optic front, thats if you don't mind changing out the sights however. I use paint markers on mine.
