IS this a fair price for this weapon.

It's high, but my understanding is they are hard to find right now. So, do you think the P30L is worth 900.

It is on the higher end but it all depends on how badly you want it. It is indeed very difficult to find a P30 or P30L in the States so if you feel that it is worth it to your own personal utility, go for it and don't look back. It is perhaps the best 9mm I have ever held. Good luck!

Midwest Distributors has them for $759.
Anything over 800 is to much!!!!

Seems high to me. But like others said, a "bird in hand". Value is what someone is willing to pay. If you really want the gun, and will be happy with it, price will mean nothing 2 months from now.

I paid for P30 $850. I know it is not the lowest price but I could look at it before I bought it.
Beside, nobody in my area ( Milwaukee, WI ) had one at that time. If you like the gun and really want it I would pay the price. Vodek

I paid just under $900 for mine a few weeks ago. Bought it at a local shop which was the only one in my area that had it. I know you could get it online for less then $800 but I figured that between shipping, and then fees I would end up paying close to $900 anyway... not worth the bother to deal with a seller who isn't in front of me (and buying a gun I have never seen).
so I would just say that while $900 is on the high side it isn't totally out of reason considering the availability right now.

Give Marshall at CDNN a call, tell him you're from HKPro. I just spoke to him today and they have a P30L in stock just no P30's.

Still paying a premium for the P30L, IMHO, there are fine examples to be had out there for less than $800. Patience is a virtue. If you need it right away, grab it. I LOVE my P30, but I"m still waiting for the "right" P30L to come along .........
BTW, I've got close to 20 HKs and I've only bought one brand new (P2000SK). Used deals are out there in plenty, and I've yet to buy (or even see) a HK in bad shape. These guns are not Jennings or Llamas, these HKs are combat-tested and intended to be used and abused without skipping a beat.
There was a beautiful P30L on this site, just last week. Unfortunately, it wasn't in Florida. I did however find this beauty for $750:

I agree.
I bought my P-30L from CDNN. It is the only time I have ever paid more than $700 for a new handgun. I still don't like paying that much for it, but this gun is so Fk'n awsome. What the hell, you only live once.

Will Marshall give us any kind of deal being from HKPro?

He always gives HKPro guys great deals! BTW, sending him a pic of your avatar couldn't hurt your chances at a good deal!
(Finding a FFL that receives from CDNN may be a challenge - it was for me.)

Yeah, $900 is definitely high... but yeah, not very available right now which made one local store in WA charge $1000 for one. Ordering one online might be a good idea, even with the transfer fees as previous posters have mentioned. $800ish is all I would be willing to pay at the most here. Hope you can grab one somehow. Good luck.

You know it was bad enough just getting started in the shooting sports. Now I've progressed to a point where the geeky nerd in me looks at each new and old weapon as a sample of engineering, a must have, like the P7PSP I'm looking at to purchase. Anyway it looks like I will be going for the P7PSP first and after that try and save for the P30L. Now I have to go make room in the ammo safe for some 9mm ammo.

WWB works great for the range - if you can find it. Shelves have been bare lately at Wally World.
Why not go in with the money and offer less. Many shops will have some room to deal on new or used guns.

I paid $976 at a local gun shop for the only one in E. TN last month. The Law of Supply and Demand.

Any luck with CDNN? As mentioned in this thread the low availability combined with a solid demand for the P30/L is continuing to drive prices. As I mentioned in another thread my local shop just got one and they're asking $890. It's like watching gas prices go up in the past, wonder how high prices are gonna get!

I've been planning on a P30 for a couple weeks now, but they're impossible to find around here for a reasonable price. I think I'll just have wait a few months.

I'm in the market for another P30 and I'm torn between waiting a few months and buying one now due to the uncertainty that they'll be available in a few months. Also, with the rising demand, I'm not sure that they'll get any cheaper.

Do you really think that it could get much higher? I don't see it getting above $1,000 for the P30. That'd be ridiculous.

same high price here. My awesome gun store quoted me 899, currently. I don't know if they'll drop it for me later. These guys don't try to make much money off me. Still, they gotta make a profit some time. It's ok though, they drop prices, fees, etc. for me all the time. Between some of the prices I see on the web and what I paid for my Mark 23, I saved almost a grand. Can't argue with sticker price every now and again, right?
