HK P30 mags $55 new price?

3 of the local guns stores in my area received some P30 mags. The prices were all the same at $55. Is this the new trend? No one has seen new P30 mags in my area for about 3 months and they were $39 then.

It has nothing to do with a supposed shortage. HK raised the prices plain and simple. Exchange rates helped push prices higher also.

I ordered some P30 mags yesterday from HKParts.net and they were still at the $39 price. I guess that when merchants run out of their current stock the next batch will be at the higher price...

I noticed Top Gun Supply has them listed for $41.95 thought they aren't in stock yet. They were also $39 a couple of days ago. So HK must have raised the price. Plus the HK45c mags went up from $53 to $58.

Guys, I don't know about where you live, but the shelves of my local gun shop are bare. The cabinets at my Gander Mountain have VERY little selection. Especially when it comes to guns with high capacity, they are no where to be found. (Think XDm)

Six months ago I bought a 15- round Beretta 92FS for $375. I sold it the other day for $550 without really trying.

I was at the local gun shop the other day, and they had a used AH date code USP45 Tactical for sale for $1000. The guy who was buying it almost missed the fact that the shop had exchanged the 12-round mags for 10-round mags. (It was NOT a Cali gun) When the guy finally figured it out, he WAS pissed, and I don't blame him.

I read a story in the USA Today how the FBI reports that gun background checks are up FIVE times over what they were same time in 2008.

It's even worse for "black" guns. I saw a Colt AR-15 model 6920 go for $2199 the other day and the guy could have sold two more if he had them.

Thanks a lot, guys...I ordered a few spares last week, but now ya made me go and order another 4 at $38.99 each...

I have more than 50 magazines for my G22, and generally 15 or so for most of my pieces, so 8 for the P30 seems pretty tame I guess...
